Fundraiser – Paul Stoddard for State Rep in St. Charles May 6th.

Paul Stoddard is running is the Democratic Candidate for Illinois State Representative in the 70th District and he needs your help. The general election will be upon us sooner than later and we’re getting a head start on fundraising for our candidate.

We’ll be at Old Town Pub in St. Charles from 1-3pm on May 6th. Suggested donation to attend $25. Eat with us. Drink with us. Help us support a progressive candidate in the 70th district.

Paul Stoddard is focused on two themes: returning government to its citizens, and re-investing in Illinois. First, Stoddard is concerned our system of government has been corrupted by big money, powerful influences, and is no longer responsive to the voters. He has several proposals – ending gerrymandering, local funding of campaigns, proportional committee control that would help return control to the people of Illinois. Second, Stoddard believes we need to reinvest in our infrastructure – real (roads, bridges, power lines, etc.); virtual (broadband); and human, especially education – to make Illinois a desirable location for both citizens and corporations.
